How do you find people to come to your website? Well, for starters, you
can write articles for the internet. Not only will you find people, but
you will be finding those who are interested in what you have to offer.
Most will just come for a visit, but some will actually buy what you
have to offer.
Quite obviously, you want a lot of people to come to the site. The
greater the number of visitors, the greater the number of sales. The
math is simple, but growing the site, or sites, comes with experience.
It comes with having the proper tools.
To be honest, I have a site that gets tons of visitors. It covers a
subject that just about everybody is aware of, and just about everybody
knows somebody affected by it. I love that site. People come to it from
all over the world. The products I have on that site were really hand
picked. I mean, I did not just through anything remotely touching on
the subject matter into the site - I looked for legitimate items that
would do people some good. Percentage wise, I get more clicks on that
site than any other site. There is just one tiny problem, and that is -
they don't spend a cent!
As much as I love that site, it is very far from being worth the time
and effort I put towards it, now. What is good about it? Well, with the
things I had learned, and with experience, I learned how to attract
people to the site without spending one cent on ads. Slowly but surely,
experience, and looking at the numbers, taught me what interested
people. Get their interest, and yes, they will come.
Everybody who uses the internet a fair amount of the time is going to
get a ton of email (by the way, if you are prone to signing up for
this, that, or the other free thing being given away, make sure you
create an email address for the junk mail that will surely follow). I
still read a lot of it. You know what, I still learn things from some
of them. After all, they have to offer something to get your attention.
Slowly but surely, you will pick up the words to attract people.
Whether it is articles or paid ads, you will find the words that
attract them to your site rather than the site of the ad above or below
yours, and once they get there, actually buy something! You can go the
long route of experience, or you can go the route of using a training
program that actually teaches and supports. I know, when you are
starting out, you might not have a ton of money to toss around. Think
about it though, a small investment here and there can save a lot of
depression along the way.
I have invested in good products, and I have invested in terrible
products, but even the worst have taught me something. The good
products, as noted above, will be there to give you support.
While you are building that perfect website, take one of the good
courses and learn a few of the tricks. For instance, things like how to
move your site up in the rankings. It was amazing to me, but I did see
the first site I used some of the ranking items on move up. When it
did, my traffic and profits moved up also.
Visit sites and see how they are set up. If they look fairly
professional, take note of what it is you find interesting. Things as
simple as the colors you use might get people to come back.
